What will your kids be doing these Easter holidays?

How about learning how to surf..? Camping in the bush? Or mastering the canoe?

The hugely popular Kids Adventure Outdoors (KAOS) is back and jam-packed with hands-on activities to get your kids more active, more often in the outdoors.

Held in the middle weekend of the Easter holidays, 2 – 3 April, 2016, camp headquarters will be located next to the Anglesea Bowls Club and will also frequent the YMCA Anglesea Recreation Camp. It’s the perfect time to enjoy the beautiful area and for your kids to have adventure that they will never forget and skills that will last a life-time.

At KAOS WIFI is OFF and Nature is ON.

Aussie kids spend an unhealthy amount of time indoors – at least 44 hours per week is spent in front of a TV or a screen. Experts believe this can have a huge impact on your child’s emotional, psychological and physical health which have the potential for ongoing negative impacts as they grow up.

The cure?

Get your kids active in the outdoors!

KAOS is also a great way for families to get involved in both Premier’s Active April and Nature Play Week.

The Premier’s Active April encourages all Victorians to do 30 minutes of physical activity a day during April, part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to promote healthy lifestyles and get Victorians to join the fun of increased physical activity.
